Meet Haley - A Coffee & A Carry-On

“You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.”

Hi there! I’m Haley

Dedicated Traveler

Hi, friend! I am so glad you stopped by.  I’m Haley.  I call the Rocky Mountains home now, but I’m a small town, Midwest girl born and bred.  I’m forever grateful for that tiny dot on the map, but I’ve got an overflowing bucket list and a whole world that needs my attention!

After traveling the U.S. for my corporate job, I quit it all and packed up my life to move cross country… you guessed it, for a guy.  But hey, I ended up getting a husband out of the deal, so basically it was the best life altering decision yet!

Fast forward a few years, we are now in the great state of Colorado and spending our PTO days the only way one should…traveling light and experiencing the unique cultures, beautiful people, and amazing sights that make up this world.

Join me as I take my coffee and a carry-on (and that cute hubby of mine!) around the world.

my life essentials

my faith: Christ Jesus is my Lord and Savior. My hope is that I am constantly striving to be a catalyst of His love and grace.
my husband: Gus is not only my husband, but my best friend; I don’t even mind the cliché! He is the better part of me and basically my muse for the majority of my travel pics; but don’t worry he’s easy on the eyes!
travel:  You know the age old question, “What is your passion?”  For a long time I didn’t think saying “to travel the world, meet people from all walks of life, and experience a culture unlike my own” was enough or the pc response. But, at the ripe old age of 27, I can tell you it absolutely is enough, for me at least. Nothing makes my heart happier than packing up my carry on for the next adventure.
coffee: To those that function first thing in the morning without a cup of joe, I applaud you.  I’m pretty sure coffee beans are really just magic (beans) helping us function like normal humans!
